Mouse's owner contacted me when her pony had become unlevel.
He was not actively lame, and there appeared no cause.
I treated Mouse, and found two hotspots in his right latissmus dorsi (the muscle that covers the ribs).
To his owner's (and my) satisfaction Mouse was level the next day and in less than a week had won his first ever chase-me-charlie, clearing 3' 6''! |

Crystal's owner contacted me when her affiliated showjumper started uncharacteristically knocking down poles.
She believed the problem might be due to Crystal having a sore back. She was correct - Crystal was in quite a lot of pain, and the muscles in her back had also start to waste away.
After an intensive course of massages, and plenty of patience and diligence on the part of her owner, Crystal recovered perfectly. She is back jumping affiliated now (the picture was taken at Wales and West), and her owner says she is jumping better than ever. |
